The final day of ICPUH 2018 started with Spiritual retreat through Yoga and Bhutshuddhikriya. Delegates felt blessed with the divine vibrations of sound of breath in the wee hours of the day. Shri Arvind again made a brief appearance and told about the subtle aspects of Bhutshuddhikriya.

It was an emotional day for all as it was the last day and convention was moving towards the time to bid good bye to each other.

Shri Arvind started the morning session by providing answers to the questions raised during first two levels of group discussions on Culture and Development. His thoughts oozing out of his experiences which were explained in an uncomplicated way, provided a different dimension of the subjects to all delegates.

Mr. Anurag then provided the progress report of the activities carried out over the last year within and outside India.

All the delegates from Nepal took the stage and invited all for the next year’s convention that would be held in Kathmandu form 25th to 28th April 2019. They proposed Unity, Equality and Prosperity as the subjects of focus.

The next segment was the Harmony Award. Universal Harmony Award was given posthumously to Mr. Mangesh. A brief video highlighting his great achievements, tireless efforts, personality was played as a tribute to the great soul. A 1 minute silence was observed to pay homage and prayers to express gratitude for the work he did for upliftment of humanity.

Universal Harmony Award


It is the highest award for outstanding work carried out towards Universal Peace and Harmony that made a significant impact on quality of life for people spanning across countries, culture, tradition and so on.



Mr. Mangesh Wankhade (India)

In recognition for his tireless efforts, selfless commitment, dedication and devotion towards Universal Peace and Harmony activities in India and Sri Lanka till his last breath. He established Ethnic Science Foundation branch in Sri Lanka and provided the much needed momentum to Siddhaa Krushi , NoE and Multi Siddhaa activities in Sri Lanka.


Social Harmony Award



It is the award for exceptional work carried out in the field of social service and well-being.

Mr. S Yogathevan (Malaysia)

For his dedication & motivation towards creating mass awareness about Cancer and providing a window of light into the world of healing for those challenged with cancer in Malaysia. Also for his initiatives to spread the peace education in Malaysia.

Mr. Sanjeev Pandey (Nepal)

For making impactful contributions in expanding the Self Development for Peace & Harmony education in Nepal

Col. Dr. Rajesh Adhau (India)

For leading from the front with bravery, courage and devotion for the nation where he participated in 56 day long Kargil War in 1999 with Jammu & Kashmir Rifles leading from front saving 108 non fatal causalities. Represented India in UN Peace Keeping mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea where he received ‘FORCE COMMANDER CITATION AWARD’ for dedication and work towards humanitarian services

Mr. Hemantrao Khanvilkar (India)

For the selfless service performed in the field of social issues and culture-based journalism

Mr. Kuldeep M Pai (India)

In recognition of his contributions in disseminating the knowledge of peace and harmony through his musical compositions which are formed on the foundation of rich cultural heritage of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam


Spirit of Humanity Award



This award is commissioned in memory of Late Shri Mangesh Wankhade as a tribute to him. Following three recipients, all form Sri Lanka received this award for demonstrating the spirit of humanity in the hour of need on multiple occasions

  • Mr Jayatissa Tikiribandage
  • Mr. Esmond De Silva
  • Mr. Sanjeewa Thilakarathna

Post the award ceremony, the peacemakers provided their point of view on the nature, format, need and relevance of this convention for the humanity. Each of them spoke with energy of love and peace with a sense of commitment and resolve to make necessary efforts for humanity and world peace.

The Universal Harmony flag lowering ceremony was performed by Mr N.G. Panditharathne, Additional Secretary, Minsitry of defense, Sri Lanka. The flag was then handed over to delegation from Nepal wishing success for the convention in 2019.

The delegates bid farewell to each other over the farewell lunch.
